Mrs. Colleen Smith, Library/Media Specialist

Mrs. Smith is a graduate of Kansas State University with a BS in Elementary Education and an MS in Educational Technology. She is a native of Junction City and she loves living in this area with her husband and three children. She has been in education with USD #475 for 27 years and really likes being a media specialist. “The best part is that I get to work with all of the students and staff in the school! It is exciting to watch kids grow up to become readers and confident users of technology.”

Mrs. Carmelita Cadenhead, Library Clerk

Mrs. Cadenhead is originally from Texas and is at Jefferson Elementary because her husband is in the military. She enjoys being the library clerk and especially likes being able to help all teachers and students in the building. This is her fourth year working at Jefferson Elementary.
